Cop2Cop would like to thank all the Officers that participated in this years Law Enforcement United “Road to Hope,” a 300+ mile bicycle ride from Atlantic City, New Jersey to Washington D.C.
The event is held annually to raise public awareness of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. The ride raises money and provides financial support for several different charities, including the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), and the Officer Down Memorial Page (O.D.M.P.).
What started in 1997 with 18 riders on a four day fund-raising bicycle ride from Florham Park, NJ to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in D.C. has grown into 8 chapters consisting of nearly 2,100 members nationwide who make the trip annually.
