For 25 years, Cop2Cop has been supporting NJ law enforcement officers and their families. Our longevity is a powerful testament to the strength, resilience, and dedication of our community to protect and serve all those in our care, as well as each other.

We are honored to be able to offer our NJ law enforcement community this powerful source of connection. Working with all of you continues to be our privilege and honor. And we want to personally thank each of you for letting us be a part of your story, as you are each the most important part of ours.
What we’ve Accomplished Together
As we celebrate this milestone, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on just how impactful the power of our community has been over the years.
- From our humble beginnings during the dark days following 9/11, to our evolution into a high-tech, statewide support network for first responders, Cop2Cop has paved the way for peer support programs across the nation.
- Officers who were once hesitant about perusing mental health support due to the perceived stigma and concerns about confidentiality, now find Cop2Cop to be a safe space to open up about their struggles.
- Cop2Cop has helped to break down barriers and become a trusted lifeline where officers can find emotional support, comradery, and guidance from colleagues who understand what they’re going through because they’ve been there.
- In addition to providing 24/7 peer support, Cop2Cop provides training on mental health awareness and education on the importance of seeking help.
- Simply connecting has helped thousands of officers access resources that provide them with a clear, proven, and sup ported path to recovery and well-being.
